I have been teaching for over 20 years, and performing a wide repertoire in musical theater, opera, cabaret, voice overs, etc. for over 40 years. I have performed the title roles of Madama Butterfly, Turandot, Aida, Suor Angelica, as well as Leonora in "Il Trovatore", Santuzza (Cavalleria Rusticana) and Amelia in "Masked Ball", among others.  I have had a lot of fun performing with various musical theater companies in the Bay Area - and doing voice over work for film and radio - opera cabaret - and even singing telegrams.

I have found effective tools for singing in a wide variety of teaching styles. There are rock solid aspects of vocal technique that can be depended on regardless of the style of music being sung, but there are so many approaches that can be considered to illuminate the best road for any individual. Every singer is different. The art of teaching is understanding how to communicate the path to great singing for each one of those individuals.  I am committed to this.

My students have performed in concert halls in Europe, on Broadway, at Juilliard, and even Motley Crue concerts...!  To read about some of them, click here...
